Disconnect The Connection

Do not be unevenly yoked with unbelievers….

What connection do you share with an unbeliever? Build relationships with people who believe in your worth, in your potential and your dreams. Do not be yoked with friends who can’t invest in you and your dreams rather move along with people who believe in you and would always motivate you. The greatest pleasure in life is doing what people say you cannot do. Ignore people who think they know more about you than you do, people who constantly try to limit your goals and ambitions for your life. Negative behaviors and harmful habits are the silent killers of a healthy, good life. Be who you are and say what you feel because those who mind don’t matter and those who matter don’t mind. It is better to be hated for what you are than loved for what you are not. A true friend would never discourage you or criticize you for being flawed. So, grab a hammer and break that yoke!

When the character of a man is not clear to you, look at his friends…

As much as people refuse to believe it, the company you keep does have an impact and influence on your choices. The people you surround yourself with can influence you greatly so choose friends with healthy habits. Friends should be medicine for a wounded heart and vitamins for a hopeful soul. Fool me once, shame on me. Fool me twice, and you’ll end up in the hospital. Life is like an elevator, on your way up sometimes, you have to stop and let some people off. Don’t hesitate to let off the wrong friends because if your friends are pumpkins, you will definitely be growing your pumpkin roots as soon as you get attached to them. Cutting people from your life does not mean you hate them, it simply means you respect yourself. No matter how badly people treat you, never drop down to their level, just know you’re better and walk away. I’m making some changes in life. If you don’t hear from me, you’re one of them.

Marriage is a leap of faith, you’re each other’s safety net…

A bad marriage is worse than no marriage at all. I think a bad husband is far worse than no husband at all and a bad wife is the beginning of witchcraft. People tell me there is plenty of fish in the sea, well that is nice and all but I’m human, I don’t date fish. People often wonder why they feel so bad at the end of a marriage even though they might have wanted it to end, the reason behind that is the loss of partnership, loss of a dream and loss of financial stability, to name a few things. 1 universe, 8 planets, 195 countries, 1864 islands, 7 seas, 7 billion people. Don’t let 1 person ruin your life. When you’re unhappy in marriage, your children are the one’s who suffer. Marriage is a wonderful institution, but who would want to live in an institution? Don’t search for a man that will solve all your problems, he won’t. Find one that won’t let you face them alone. Ambitious women really only have two options: a super-supportive partner or no partner at all. A husband and wife may disagree on many things but they must absolutely agree to never ever give up and if they can’t, remember marriage is a leap of faith…you can always leap out! Someday you’ll look back and understand why it all happened the way it did.

Office politics can hurt you but a bad colleague can kill you…

Everybody experiences either an annoying colleague or a bad boss or both if you’re unusually unlucky. A good co-worker would understand team spirit matters and not his ego. Successful people are always looking for opportunities to help others. Unsuccessful people are always asking, what’s in it for me? Everybody brings joy to the office, some when they arrive but some when they leave. Always remember that the toes you step on today might be attached to the ass you have to kiss tomorrow. Be nice to nerds, because you may end up working for one! Find 3 hobbies:
One to make you money. One to keep you in shape. One to keep you creative. Become so financially secure that you forget it’s payday. Avoid office politics and unnecessary competition. Always disconnect from the wrong coworkers. Today they will call you crazy, Tomorrow they will call you boss.

Some pastors are like fire, the sooner they are out, the better….

O Lord, help me to be pure, but not yet, Our pastors may never understand. Just because my path is different doesn’t mean I’m lost. A pastor/priest who can’t keep your confessions to himself is really a hypocrite. Ever being in church and your pastor is preaching directly about you? You need to know perfection is not a skill, It is an attitude. If you’re ever a victim of such circumstances, make flyers and banners and start up your own church and be sure to take half of the congregation with you. You must find the courage to leave the table if respect is no longer being served. One small crack doesn’t mean that you’re broken, it means that you were put to the test and didn’t fall apart. Your wound is probably not your fault, but your healing is your responsibility.

Never steal. The government hates competition…..

The universe contains protons, neutrons, electrons and morons. The morons here are the government. Its a shame we are led by a bunch of trained thieves. The funniest thing is that their pets accompany them on their missions. Last year, a python swallowed millions of naira, I wonder who’s pet was so talented…I believe it’s Tinubu’s pet snake. If you ever get an opportunity to meet a politician, give them a high five on the face for me. Engaging in political activities this days without some extra super powers is like playing with your life. Don’t vote them in anymore, I’m getting tired of reading regrets note everywhere. My brother, you knew he was a thief, don’t console your foolishness with excuses. I really need to have a one on one conversation with Buhari supporters now. How are you faring Madam? I hope you’re about to buy a private jet because if you’re not, you’re really a charged moron. If common sense is so common, why are you with out it? Don’t believe any rumor until the government denies it. From great power comes a great electricity bill. We are all here on earth to help others; what on earth the government are here for I don’t know. Leaders don’t force people to follow, they invite them on a journey.

Good friends, good books, and a sleepy conscience: this is the ideal life. The purpose of life is a life of purpose. May you live all the days of your life. The great use of life is to spend it for something that will outlast it. It is not length of life, but depth of life. You want to see a perfect relationship? Watch a movie. Single doesn’t always mean lonely, Relationship doesn’t always mean happy. I’m single because God is busy writting the best love story for me. I’m not picky, I just have standards.
The opportunity to truly live doesn’t wait. Either you use it or you lose it. No one is you and that is your power. You can’t control everything. Sometimes you just need to relax & have faith that things will work out. Let go a little & just let life be.
